What is the difference between shaving gel and shaving cream and which is better?

shaving gel is best for girls because most girls shave in the shower but for guys, shaving cream is best.What is the difference between shaving gel and shaving cream and which is better?
Gel may cost more, but if you ever plan on spraying somebody with shaving cream as a joke, go with gel. I got in a shaving cream fight in a dorm, and that's when I realized the gel not only shoots farther than cream, but it also makes less noise as it shoots out of the can. With shaving cream, your target immediately ducts when he hears the noise as you press the button. Gel is silent; so your target doesn't realize you're aiming for him till you've scored a hit.What is the difference between shaving gel and shaving cream and which is better?
Gel a fancy name for charging more for the same thing but a different colour.
I've used both and prefer regular old Barbasol creme. Gel is more expensive and doesn't lather up as well.
I dont know the scientific difference between then bc the gel eventually turns into what the cream looks like, But i think the gell works better its lilke it makes the skin soft first
Both come out of the can. Gel is more expensive. I believe that the gel is better, particularly Gillett gel, because you tend to get a closer shave with the gel. The old fashioned white cream is much better for making pies however.
There is not much difference except for the price. I prefer regular shaving cream (brand does not really matter) because gel has a tendency to clog the razor faster..
