What is the best possible cream or gel for severe acne?

I have used Duac gel before but after a few years it gave me rash now i've switched treatment and my acne has just gotten from bad to worse. What is best possible solution for this I'm dying a cure, this acne thing is getting to me...

Help!!!What is the best possible cream or gel for severe acne?
Okay, so I used to have HORRIBLE acne. I was on Doryx pills, Duac gel, Ziana gel, and Benzaclin. After a few years, they helped a little, but I still had a lot of issues. I decided to try out some vitamins called ';Hair, Skin, %26amp; Nails';, and my acne has been gone ever since! I'm not even on the other prescriptions, and the vitamins are $8 a bottle, compared to the thousands of dollars spent on acne medicines. Oh, and I got it from Walgreen's in the vitamin section! I really hope it can work for you like it did for me.What is the best possible cream or gel for severe acne?
Well it all depends on the person individually, but for me I've used Freederm, Clearasil, Neutrogena...pretty much every high street product and NONE worked. So I went to my doctor about it, and have been using medicated roll on treatment for almost 2 years now. They don't take too much persuading, so I'd advise you to go for it! And if this doesn't work, they can provide you with tablets to take, which my cousin had and they worked for him. The roll on really has cleared my spots up a treat though, and has made me feel much more confident.
I've had many prescribed by a doctor and they all work for a wee while then my skin gets back to its worse. I've recently been referred to a dermatologist after about 4 years of complaining. Before though it got bad I used freederm, you can buy it in your pharmacy, it was around 拢8 but was well worth it though.
try benzoyl peroxide..also known as benzac.u get it at any chemist and it works well.just apply evry nite before u sleep.make sure u apply after washing ur face well nd dryin.

also try an acne facewash by neutrogena.

make sure u wash ur face atleast twice a day.before u step out of the house and also wen u come bak.n most definitely b4 u sleep.

don stress much.if nothin works u shud consult a dermatologist.

gud luck.
Panoxyl 10 cream works wonders with acne but can cause redness and dryness. If it really bothers you, go to your doctor. If they prescribe something that doesn't work, go back, again and again if necessary. Sometimes antibiotics can help )e.g. oxytetracyclin).
- Medicated soap (get it from the soap section in your supermarket)

- Neutrogena deep clean

- Clearasil spot clear

- Proactiv

- Clean 2wice a day!! - morn, night

If your skin gets dry:

- smear honey all over your face %26amp; leave for 1/2 an hour then wash off with warm water

- use a TINY bit of a good moisturiser (after the face wash has dried on your face)
You need to get the proper products for your skin type to control your acne. Do a FREE skin care analysis. Just follow this link:

see your doctor and see if he will prescribe you accutane. it is a wonder cream. i am assuming you are a teen. dont let it get you down, it will go away.
Ermm, I have heard of this soap, which apparently works wonders. But the thing is, it is mega expensive as it has fragments of gold leaf in it...but if you're dying, i guess...
Get one prescribed from your GP. I got an antibiotic gel from mine, and my skin was clear within a week! Definitely worth it! xxx
freederm gel.
Hi,

Here is some information on Tea Tree which I hope will be of some interest to you.

Hope this is of some help.

Tea Tree Oil - Common Uses

Because of its many uses it has been referred to as a 'medicine cabinet in a bottle'. Here are just some of them:

1. Acne - apply pure oil to the blemish.

2. Insect bites, razor burn, lice, and dandruff.

3. Cold sores - apply pure oil directly to the sore.

4. Cuts/scrapes %26amp; abrasions - rub a few drops of pure oil into the cut. Do not use tea tree oil on deep cuts and wounds.

5. Nasal ulcers - drip 1-3 drops of oil onto a cotton swab and apply it directly to the affected area.

6. Toothache - drip a few drops directly into the cavity. Or drip a couple drops on your finger and rub the tooth and surrounding gum.

7. Sore throat/throat infection - gargle with 8-10 drops of tea tree oil diluted in half an ounce of water. Repeat two or three times within twenty minutes.

8. Ear infection - drip about three drops of tea tree oil into 5 ml of water. Fill a dropper with the solution and gently fill the ear with it. Hold it in the ear for half a minute and drain. Repeat several times a day or however often is necessary. Do not put pure tea tree oil into the ear. Also, rub pure oil onto the outer surface of the ear.

9. Boils - apply two drops to the boil daily for at least 1 month.

10. Ringworm - apply pure oil daily for at least one month straight. Make sure to do it every day or the fungus can build up a resistance to the oil.

11. Athlete's foot - apply pure oil directly to the feet, on a daily basis for at least a month to make sure the fungus is destroyed. In addition, you can drip several drops into a basin of water and soak the feet.

12. Canker sores - apply pure oil directly to the sore.

13. Oral hygiene - add one drop of oil to your toothbrush when brushing your teeth, or put one drop into the crease of your finger, run dental floss through it and floss.

14. Dandruff - add two or three drops to your shampoo.

So how do you use it? Simple. Just apply it directly onto the affected area of skin, a couple times a day.

A word of caution: Tea Tree oil is very pungent and potent. It should only be used externally, and sparingly. It should not be used on babies or small children. Keep it away from eyes and wash your hands after using it. If you find it too strong, try diluting it with water until you find a comfortable potency.
