Get some neutrogena shaving gel. Its freakin unbeleivable! What is the best shave gel/cream to prevent nicks/cuts and razor burn for men?
Anything that sprays out of a can - cream or gel - you want to avoid, because they have to add chemicals to the gel or foam to get it come out of the can correctly, and those result in less lubrication for your face. Shaving soaps dry out to quickly.

So, I use C. O Bigelow Premium Shave Cream, which you can get at Bath %26amp; Body Works. Its is in a tube, and you squeeze out some, lather it up in your hands, then put it on your face. Once I have that coating on, I might put shaving cream over it, because they contain beard softeners, and the bulky foam helps avoid razor burn. Sounds elaborate but it works for me.

Go with the grain, not against it, in the areas where you are getting bumps. I don't know what you mean by shave two times . . . do you mean two times a day? Yes that would be harsh on your face.
No, actually the best thing you can use is get a great blade. A triple or more works best. Make sure you clean in between. You can actually use conditioner to shave.

If you dont shave all of the time/ Use a thick lotion, apply to face, take a nice hot shower then shave after...thats the best thing you can ';use';...do.
i just use plain old Gillette foam lol, the ones with moisturizer and things are probably good for razor burn.
