There is aloe juice and gels there. This way you dont gotta run around trying to find it.
You can purchase the plant itself at Trader Joe's. You can also find it at most Nursery's which carry succulent plants. If you would rather have the gel, (which I personally don't think is as effective), you can buy Aloe Vera gel at any whole food or natural food store that carries sun tan products. Since Aloe gel is usually used for sunburn and even burns from your stove, it is a topical gel that when spread on the burn, relieves burning and helps to promote healing. You can usually find it at a drugstore as well, though it has normally been ';cut'; quite a bit and it's initial effectiveness is not as strong as the more natural gel.





If you can't find it, then try placing the body in a cool bath, or the burned area. If you have a sunburn, it's my understanding that apple cider vinegar in a cool bath will help to alleviate some of the burning and pain associated with sunburn. You can also use tofu if the area isn't too large to cover. You can also use Sea Salt in a cool bath or drape wet towels over the burned area to neutralize the condition. Since the skin is actually on fire, you will need to repeat this process for a long time, so make plenty of cool water to place on the burn. Cucumber works well, you can put it in your food processor, skin and all, make a paste and then put it on the burn.





The best remedy remains in getting an Aloe plant and using it's insides. Just peel away the outer skin and smear the pulp on the body. It will take the sting out of the burn and help to heal the skin.
